Here in Frontierland you’ll spy an Island surrounded by the Rivers of America, a getaway within the Magic Kingdom. The Island is accessible by log raft. You’ll depart the raft at Tom’s Landing and be able to explore the Island on a self-guided tour. The Island setting is based upon the stories of Mark Twain, hearkening back to the days of the early American settlers of the frontier. The paths here can be chosen at your leisure. Spend time spying sycamore trees and legendary spots.

Harper’s Mill is based on the animated Disney movie, The Old Mill. You’ll also find Injun Joe’s Cave, maybe a bit haunted with fossils in this cavern. Fort Langhorn is an early settlement you can explore that has a blacksmith shop and an escape tunnel. Potter’s Mill can be accessed by a bridge, allowing a great look at Frontierland and the Rivers of America. This adventure will end at Tom Sawyer’s Scavage Fort. Here you can enter by bridge and enjoy sliding through a tube. Your little settlers can play at the fort, too! Travel back to Frontierland by log raft and tell the tale of Mark Twain and Tom Sawyer’s adventures.
