On July 4, 1776, the world changed forever.  On this date, a group of farmers and tradesmen met in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and declared their independence from England.  The Revolutionary War would drag on until 1783, with the Americans ultimately winning their independence.  On February 4, 1789, George Washington became the first President of the United States, beginning a tradition of democratic representation that continues today.

Come celebrate American independence and the legacy of the American Presidency at the Hall of Presidents.  This attraction, located right in the heart of Liberty Square, brings all 44 U.S. Presidents to life through the magic of Audio-Animatronics.  The Hall of Presidents revolutionized the Disney experience, as Walt and his Imagineers created the first Audio-Animatronic figure (in human form) specifically for this attraction which opened in 1971.

The 700-seat theater that houses this attraction contains 3 projection screens that present an original film which tells the story of the United States of America.  After this presentation ends, the curtain lifts to reveal every one of the U.S. Presidents.  Shows run continually throughout the day, with a large clock under the marquee advertising the next show time.  The theater is handicap accessible, and the air-conditioned atmosphere provides a fantastic respite from the Florida sun.
